Kindness Moves Mountains
What makes Vail Resorts such an amazing company are the people who work here. The EpicPromise Employee Foundation is a public charity designed to provide our team with pathways to stability and access. The EpicPromise Employee Foundation is funded by an annual $500,000 contribution from Vail Resorts, as well as generous donations made by Vail Resorts team members and guests.

Designed for our team members facing an emergency and in need of support, our Employee Hardship program helps families navigate the road ahead. The EpicPromise Employee Foundation offers Employee Hardship grants for all team members, including active, furloughed, or seasonal (eligible for re-hire), and dependents. Employee Hardship grants provide short-term aid following a critical, unexpected event to address emergency expenses.
We want to help our team members pursue their passions. The Educational Ascent Grant is a one-time scholarship award for U.S.-based Vail Resorts employees who are pursuing a degree or certificate program. Whether you’re pursuing a vocational or specialized degree, a master’s program, EMT certificate or yoga certification, we may be able to provide support to get you there. Applications are now closed.
The EpicPromise Scholars grant is a scholarship program for the dependents of U.S. or Canadian-based Vail Resorts employees. This scholarship is intended to assist recipients with tuition expenses for vocational degree programs, bachelor’s degree programs, or specialized degree programs so that families – not just our direct team members – can thrive. The EpicPromise Scholars grant application cycle opens annually in the late Fall/early Winter.
